Frank kicked butt on the Handgun Portion with a 31, he slightly edged out Tom Rago by 30 seconds, Tom is going to return with a semi auto next time, and guest shooter Keith Van Zandt shot a 29. it was an excellent day at the Range today.

Service Rifle & Steel Centerfire Handgun results

Congratulations to Terry Bracken & Josh Sutherland on their completion of the inaugural Steel Service Rifle & Steel Centerfire Handgun Match, conditions were challenging however it was a success!

 

The Ladies Handed the Men a sound whoopin today, Not pictured is Paula Bracken (overall match winner), she shot a 22 in strong winds, Abbie Sutherland (r) with Paula's Rifle shot a 19(Abbie used her own AR), Becky Carr, (L) shot a 16, in all 6 ladies showed up for the Shoot.

Tehama Shooters Association By-Laws Article II: Object

Founded 12/31/1985

26 Years

The object of this organization shall be the encouragement of the organized rifle, shotgun, and pistol shooting among citizens of the United States resident in our community, with the view toward better knowledge of the part of such citizens of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improve marksmanship. It shall be our further object and purpose to forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good-fellowship, self-discipline, team play and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.

Tehama Shooters was Granted Charter by the National Rifle Association December 31st, 1985

There were Thirty Two original Charter Members, The Club Moved to the Present Location in the Spring of 1992

The First Construction was of the High Power Range Firing Line, and the Flag Pole.

This was Funded entirely by the Membership.

Today's last official event of 2011, Trap, (l-r) Wavin Willie Boles squaring off against Jim Nicholls at the Bushwacker, that's Jim Nicholls with his winnings from the Cutthroat Custer, Shooters on the firing line Shooting the Cutthroat Custer, Doug Mefford (not Pictured) choked when the Silver Bird emerged today forfeiting the $9.00 pot to the Club, last but not least Wavin Willie & Tom Two Dove Barnes both Shot a 50 Straight Today, however they both failed to mount a successful campaign beyond that, while the waiver won the Bushwacker. The story behind the Shell Willie is holding is Tom will always offer to "Loan" you a "Good Shell" takers of this generosity Beware !
